Jeremy Coller

Founder & Chairman

Jeremy Coller is a British financial executive, and one of the UK’s most active philanthropists.

Chairman and CIO of Coller Capital, which he founded in 1990, Jeremy is widely regarded as a pioneering investor in private equity’s secondary market. Financial News has recognised him as one of the 50 most influential people in European private equity.

In 2002 he established the Jeremy Coller Foundation to enable him to pursue his philanthropic goals. He places a strong emphasis on impact-driven philanthropy, with the Foundation achieving much of this through targeted, strategic grant-making.

The FAIRR Initiative, a $70+ trillion investor network which seeks to raise awareness of the material risks involved with intensive animal agriculture, was launched by Jeremy and the Foundation in 2015. The Coller Animal Law Forum (CALF), an online resource working to bring about a more sustainable global food system, followed in 2021.

Jeremy holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Sussex, and a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from Manchester University School of Management.
